be awake enough to see where you are

I have no advice for anybody; except to, you know, be awake enough to see where you are at any given time, and how that is beautiful, and has poetry inside. Even places you hate.

splashing in

tiny turtles digging in the sand.

if you were a liquor you'd be red wine.

if you were a heartbeat you'd beat quicker.

that shakes my tambourine

sleepy creature of mine,

lapping up the last licks of sunshine

drowsy dreamer drop your eyes,

drift from daylight with my time.
